The "Island" community located just west of the Harsimus Cemetery reached out to the I-Team about having a temporary park in a dead end. The I-Team, with the help of the Dept. of Public Works, brought in concrete barricades, planters, and picnic tables to set the scene. After painting and stenciling the asphalt, the community got together to fill the planters with seasonal flora from 14th Street Garden Center. The Waldo Av Popup Park can be found on Waldo Av near Alan Terrace through October 2021.
